1929 Depression vs 2008 Depression
(Via email) Back in the1929 Financial Crash it was said that some Wall Street Stockbrokers and Bankers JUMPED from their office windows and committed suicide when confronted with the news of their firms and clients financial ruin. Many people were said to almost feel a little sorry for them. In 2008 the attitude has changed somewhat:

Southbound ramps at Hester's Crossing bridge set... →
On Tuesday, Nov. 25, TxDOT will open the south bound Collector Distributor which will bring traffic from the IH 35 access road just north of Hester’s Crossing to the access road adjacent to Lowe’s Home Improvement Store in La Frontera. The new Collector Distributor will allow southbound IH 35 traffic to bypass the Hester’s Crossing intersection and exit directly to the access road.
